Pipedrive Required Fields

Overview

Below we will walk through the Required Fields for each Stage of the Sales Pipeline. The same requirements apply to KMC and RPM Sales.

Required fields show up in the Please fill section of the Deal, Person, or Organization. They have a Yellow Dot next to them. You may not see all the Yellow Dots if there are missing Data Connections. Review the linked documentation if you aren't seeing all the Yellow Dots listed below.

  • Location: this is the location where the unit is located, which may not match the Sales Reps location
  • Validate Order Activity: this should be completed before the deal moves forward to trigger the Parts order (otherwise delivery will be delayed)

None, provided all previous guidelines are met.

Missing Data

If there is missing information (unfilled Yellow Dots) then a Note will pop up telling you what to fill in.

Including this document, that makes three places where the required info is documented:

  1. The Yellow Dot
  2. The Note
  3. This Document

If you're having trouble figuring out what is missing wait 10-15 seconds, refresh the page, and review the information available to you. There are no surprises, but there may be temporary system delays.
